We’ve been here for 13 years. Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye. With the pandemic hitting everyone and all of the tourism pretty much came to a halt on the island for 2020 after March. And as a freelance photographer that is not good.

So with a lot of late night discussions between my wife and family, we decided it was time to head back to California. Healdsburg exactly, in Sonoma County. Not a bad place to land. Believe me, I am not complaining.

We have a lot of family and friends here too, so we’re off to a good start, and that means transferring everything over for my business. I feel good about this though, but I’ll tell you the truth, I came kicking and screaming all the way here. But I figure I can always head over for a little vacation with all the friends and family that I have there.
